Nashik and Trimbakeshwar are both important locations for the 2027 Kumbh Mela. The right base depends on your planned activities, travel dates and official traffic arrangements.
Staying in Nashik
Nashik may suit travellers who prefer access to a wider city setting and transport connections. Compare the actual accommodation location with your planned activities.
Staying near Trimbakeshwar
Trimbakeshwar may suit travellers focused on the temple area, but availability, crowd restrictions and transport routes must be verified for the dates you plan to visit.
What to check before deciding
Review the official bathing calendar for each location, expected local restrictions, property facilities and the practical transport route. Do not assume a quoted road distance will equal actual travel time during the Mela.
